South Korea – September 9, 2025 – WEBZEN, a leading global developer and publisher of PC and mobile games is excited to announce the arrival of the third update of MU Season 20 Part 1 for its long-running PC MMORPG MU Online, introducing powerful new Legendary Gear for players to craft and upgrade.
Power Beyond Mastery
With this update, players can now craft the first tier of Legendary Weapons, Shields, and Armor, known as the Temple Guard Set. Legendary gear sits above Mastery Tier 10 equipment, representing a new pinnacle of power in MU Online.
Once obtained, these items can be upgraded through new stages and levels, unlocking exclusive stat bonuses, enhanced set effects, and unique attributes that push characters beyond previous limits. Players can now truly transcend mastery and wield power beyond previous limits.
Special In-Game Events
To celebrate the update, WEBZEN is running limited-time events until end of September to help players gather upgrade materials and boost rewards.
In Kardamahal Underground Temple, special item drop rates are doubled and monster HP and elemental attacks are reduced, making Elite Zone challenges more rewarding. Maze of Dimensions rewards are doubled, with 30% more EXP from monsters.
Players can also collect gemstones from high-level monsters and refine them into Jewels of Harmony, while the Artifact Grade Upgrade Event allows upgrade of artifacts through the Chaos Goblin, making it easier than ever to enhance gear and claim valuable rewards.
