Description:
Masuku is an abstract puzzle game for 1–4 players in which you have to strategically cover up the board. Place, rotate, and flip cards to reveal colours and symbols that match shifting scoring goals. Use smart positioning and a bit of luck to reach 50 points with the fewest moves.
The full game also has:
Daily challenge with leaderboards
Solo: randomly generated challenge mode
2–4 player VS: local head-to-head
VS CPU
White out: place cards to eliminate every coloured circle except one from the board
Pure Blue: coverup everything but the blue
No Overlap: reach 50 points without overlapping any cards
Daily Challenge:
Come back every day to compete for the top spot on the leaderboard. Reach 50 points in the fewest turns. The challenge is the same for everyone that day and u can retry as many times as you want, to try to optimise your strategy with the knowledge of what cards will be coming in future turns.

History:
The game started out as a global game jam entry 2026. The theme was mask and was initially prototyped with paper cut out cards. The idea was to mask out the colors and shapes to score points with a changing rule set a bit like the card game flux. Then when designing Ally decided to play a version inside of Adobe illustrator and thought it could work as a digital game so pivoted during the jam to build in unity.
MASUKU is from the Japanese word for mask.
