October 9, 2025 - Hooded Horse, Ubisoft, and Unfrozen are excited to share some fantastic news regarding upcoming turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era. Eager fans can experience a taste of the new entry in the highly anticipated Heroes of Might and Magic series with the free demo, available now. The game’s release window is also moving to 2026.
The news was announced during the Heroes of Might and Magic 30th Anniversary Celebration stream, hosted by Ubisoft, celebrating the legendary series and its fans with a range of announcements and interviews about the franchise’s past, present, and future. The demo build features four playable factions and three different game modes – Classic, Single Hero mode, and Arena mode. While this build is single-player only, the full game will have multiplayer, more modes, and more factions, to name but a few things. The demo will also feature in the upcoming Steam Next Fest event, which begins Monday, October 13, 2025.
Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era will be released on PC via Steam Early Access in 2026. A press kit is available.
