Happy Volcano Announces Midnight Moments, a Cozy Cyberpunk Diorama Game

The award-winning studio behind You Suck at Parking and Modulus reveals its next game, a wholesome, atmospheric diorama builder set in a neon-drenched cyberpunk city.

27th May 2026 – Leuven, Belgium | Happy Volcano today announced Midnight Moments, a small cyberpunk diorama-building game coming to PC via Steam. The Steam page is live now and a playtest is available for signups.

In Midnight Moments, players build rain-soaked backstreets, glowing apartment blocks, and quiet neighbourhood corners one piece at a time, then zoom in to fill them with handcrafted props and citizens until every corner feels lived-in. With no objectives, no timers, and no pressure, it is the kind of game you come back to when you need to unwind.

"We wanted to make something small, beautiful, and genuinely relaxing," said David Prinsmel, Game Director at Happy Volcano. "Midnight Moments is about that feeling of building a little corner of a city and just staring at it for a while. We think a lot of people need that right now."

About Midnight Moments
Stack buildings, thread alleyways between them, dress rooftops with antennae and garden plots, hang neon signs from facades still soaked from rain. Then get closer, arrange props and citizens until the scene looks exactly the way you imagined it. Watch rain streak down neon-lit facades as light pools beneath street lamps.
No objectives. No timers. No pressure. Just a corner of a cyberpunk city and the moments you choose to fill it with.

Key Features

Build your corner: Shape a single building, a backstreet, or an entire neighbourhood corner with modular floors, walls, facades, rooftops, and lighting.

Populate your world:  Place citizens and handcrafted props individually until every scene feels alive and inhabited.

Unwind at your own pace:  No goals, no score, no timers. The kind of game you come back to when you need to switch off.
