The new Fleet Trailer for City Transport Simulator highlights the impressive range of buses and trams that will be available to players starting October 7, 2025, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
“The variety and level of detail in our vehicles is something we are especially proud of,” explains Daniel Buda, CEO of ViewApp.
He adds: “It was important for us to include not only modern models, but also older bus and tram types that carry a special charm. This makes City Transport Simulator a unique experience for fans of every generation.”
A Fleet That Leaves Nothing to Be DesiredAmong the historical vehicles are the GT6 and GT8N trams, which stand out with their authentic, distinctive sounds, rollsigns for line destinations, incandescent bulbs in the passenger area, and the characteristic hand throttle. All these details allow for a true time travel experience back to the second half of the 20th century, when trams shaped the image of many European cities.
In contrast, the modern MAN New Lion’s City solo and articulated buses bring state-of-the-art features: a contemporary design, start-stop technology, and customizable RGB interior lighting. Naturally, authentic sounds are also included.
Most vehicles in the game come from eras in between: for example, Vienna’s first low-floor bus, the Gräf/Steyr NL205, is playable, as well as the well-known MAN Lion’s City bus, which is available in six different variants. Tram enthusiasts can also take control of vehicles like the StadtRegioTram, the Flexity Vienna (well known from Vienna), Munich’s R2.2B, or the older E1 tram.
All vehicles have been recreated with great precision based on original vehicle data and integrated into the game under official licenses. Already, City Transport Simulator offers an extensive fleet, with additional content planned as future expansion packs. Players can either drive the vehicles themselves or assign them to routes to be operated by in-game AI.
Available in Multiple EditionsCity Transport Simulator: Bus will be released on October 7 in several editions, each offering a different range of bus models. A graphic at the end of this press release provides a clear overview of the content included in each edition.
