[August 12, 2025] — Maracas Studio has announced that Fish Stick Protocol, its upcoming chaotic co-op extraction game, will hold an open beta from August 14–25 ahead of a planned Early Access release later this year.
The beta is open to everyone via the game’s Steam page by selecting “Join the Fish Stick Protocol Playtest.” Players are encouraged to wishlist the game, share screenshots and videos, and submit feedback or bug reports through Discord and the Steam Community Hub.
First revealed during the AG French Direct, Fish Stick Protocol supports 1–8 players as they explore strange, procedurally generated worlds, recover bizarre relics, and return them to an upgradeable manor base. With no permadeath or horror elements, the game focuses on physics-driven problem-solving, surreal environments, and emergent comedy.
