New York, 23 January, 2024 - We are excited to share the 2023 end-of-year recap for Erenshor. January 2024 marks the 2 year anniversary of Erenshor’s development by Brian, the solo developer behind the project. In this latest video we will showcase many of the updates that have been released in 2023, as well as what we have in store for 2024.
After the initial demo launched in early September, a few dozen of the early Patreon supporters have been awarded access to the full (in-development) version of the game. Those who have access to the game are providing incredible value and feedback to help shape Erenshor into a game that lovers of the classic MMO games of the 2000s era will enjoy. Additionally, Erenshor has joined the top 1500 most wishlisted games on steam, with a year or more of development still to go. Thank you all for the love and support! Below are just some updates that have been added last year.
Many of the below features will be added to the demo after a round of QA testing.
Features added since Demo launch:
- Auction house, buy and sell items with Sim players
- Shared Bank between characters
- Many updates to Sim player behavior
- 100+ hours of new content
- Over 420 new items and spells to find
- 12 New zones exist in the development build, including 3 full dungeons
- Addition of mining and crafting skills
- Dynamic weather and lighting updates
- The “SimPlayer” server population is over 100, with many more to come.

The future for Erenshor is looking bright. In the video, Brian will talk about updates like end game progression, guilds, development challenges, and plans for the world of Ereshor.
Lastly, Erenshor will be open to a public beta weekend at some point in mid-2024, date TBD. We hope to continue to gain valuable player feedback from fans in order to create an “MMORPG” game we can all enjoy for years to come, on our own time! Announcements will be made on our discord and steam page at that time.

What is Erenshor?
Erenshor is a single player RPG where the player plays inside of a simulated MMORPG that offers unrestricted exploration, strategic battles, and countless weapons, armors, and spells to discover. After two years of prototyping, Erenshor has joined the current top 1500 most wishlisted games on steam!
You'll hunt monsters, complete quests, and explore the lore of the world. Each upgraded item will bring tangible increases in power, and soon the unwavering foes before you will be pushed aside, revealing a challenge even greater.
Just like the MMORPGs in the late 2000s, players will be able to group with Simulated Players who will do dungeons, quests, or world bosses! They will level independently at varying rates, get their own equipment, and do their own quests. Some simulated players will even make or join guilds that the player could join, if liked enough.
