Inspired by the world of kaizo platformers, Curiosity is a precision-based platforming adventure that blends challenging mechanics with an engaging narrative, bringing a fresh twist to the “rage game” genre. Conceived by renowned content creator and speedrunner David "GrandPOOBear" Hunt, Curiosity was born from a desire to create a game that not only fits current content trends but also pays tribute to the art of platforming. With over a decade of experience fostering a dedicated gaming community, GrandPOOBear and the founding team at DarkBear Studios have crafted Curiosity to be more than just a test of skill—it’s an experience that pushes players to persevere, adapt, and uncover its deeper mysteries.

In Curiosity, players take on the role of a cat navigating a treacherous labyrinth in a relentless pursuit to find their way home. Every leap demands precision and persistence, as players climb, dodge obstacles, and master the intricate platforming mechanics. While falling may be inevitable, a cat’s nine lives serve as a lifeline—though expending them all may lead to unforeseen consequences…While Curiosity shares DNA with vertical-climbing titles like Only Up and Chained Together, it brings a new depth to the genre through its narrative-driven approach and immersive world.
