Introducing the Khorne faction
As the name suggests, this faction is made up of worshippers of Khorne, the God of blood and slaughter. Khorne teams are characterized by their particularly brutal play style! Many of their players are equipped with the Frenzy skill, which leads them to bloody confrontations with opposing teams. Their motto reflects this philosophy: “Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows.”
The Eternal League now available to all players
Made available in beta during Season 8, Blood Bowl 2's highly popular single-player mode is now available to all players, now featuring enhanced tactical AI and improved features. The Eternal League allows players to infinitely progress their teams by taking part in a number of themed competitions (opposing teams made up entirely of undead players, stadium caught in a perpetual blizzard, referee allowing cheating etc.).
A new feature eagerly awaited by the community: the Redraft
The Redraft is a fresh start for a team involved in a league. It is a competition setting applied every 20 matches in the official Ladder, and can be configured at will in private competitions. The Redraft grants players the opportunity to have their team rest and recover from certain effects, such as injuries or reduced stats. During the Redraft, players must rebuild their team by recruiting old or new players and staff within the budget allocated to them, which depends on the results of previous matches.
A brutal new seasonal event: the Bloodthirst Challenge
Throughout Season 9, players will be able to take part in the Bloodthirst Challenge event, a seasonal multiplayer game mode allowing them to try the new faction for free and get a chance to obtain rewards, including a legendary skin.
As usual, Season 9 includes its fair share of new content: an unlockable rewards path, numerous adjustments and new Star Players who will be coming later this season. Further information on Season 9 is available HERE.
