April 29, 2025 - Hooded Horse and Eremite Games are excited to announce a new chapter for Against the Storm, the best-selling, award-winning dark fantasy roguelite city-builder. On June 26, 2025, the Blightstorm will spread to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch as game porting veterans QLOC take up the challenge of bringing the game to consoles.
A new wave of viceroys will get to experience this popular city builder, joining the efforts to rebuild civilization in the face of apocalyptic rains. Players will lead humans, beavers, lizards, foxes, and harpies to reclaim the wilderness and secure a future for civilization's last survivors. The UI has been completely overhauled for consoles, ensuring that newcomers have a smooth experience while fulfilling their duty to the Scorched Queen.
Against the Storm is localized from English into German, French, Spanish (including Latin America), Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese. The console version will be localized into the same languages.
Against the Storm is available on PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 / ¥3,980. It’s also available on PC Game Pass. The game currently holds a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with over 28,000 reviews, and recently crossed 1.5 million copies sold.
The game will release on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on June 26, 2025.
