The story of Tears of Themis unfolds as players investigate a series of crimes that take place in the fictitious city of Stellis. Players kick off their legal career at Themis Law Firm with the determination to uphold peace and justice, only to find themselves sinking deeper and deeper into a massive conspiracy lurking behind the scenes. As cases close and issues resolve, a sinister force that threatens justice and order slowly begins to surface. When the darkness hidden beneath the tranquil city finally unveils itself, one must choose carefully and stay true to their values and beliefs.
While solving dilemmas of justice and crime, players can hone their sleuthing skills through detective gameplay. There are multiple objectives when conducting investigations, such as collecting and examining clues at the crime scene, and gathering key phrases and points of suspicion from NPCs involved in the case. After comparing and analyzing obtained evidence, the final battle awaits: players will present evidence to the court to support their arguments. Leverage irrefutable logic to defeat the prosecution and ultimately celebrate victory and uphold justice.
Throughout the truth-hunting journey, four compelling male characters with distinct personalities will provide continuous support and assistance. Venture into their hearts, discover their innermost secrets, and create exclusive, romantic memories with them. As relationships blossom, character-specific stories, exclusive dialogues, and video calls will be unlocked.
Character-specific stories can be unlocked by collecting cards. Exquisite and dynamic card illustrations, interactive CGs, exclusive dialogues, and video calls create an immersive and heart-racing experience between players and their favorite characters.
