Tripwire Presents Expands Publishing Business with Focus on Scaled Support of Smaller Independent Developers and Games

Indie-friendly Publishing Initiative Aims to Assist Developers in Cutting Through the Noise of Discovery and Connecting Players with a Curated Selection of Quality Titles

ROSWELL, Ga. – Nov. 4, 2026  – Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Tripwire Interactive today announced a new initiative, expanding its business to include scaled publishing support of smaller independent developers to help connect players with a curated selection of quality-proven indie titles spanning different genres and platforms. As an indie-friendly publishing partner, the company will leverage their 20 years of experience and proven success in self and co-publishing games across markets and mediums to help smaller developers cut through the noise of discovery with assistance in cross-promotion, platform opportunities, commercial strategy, PR, content creators, events and more.

The new program will offer flexible, dev-friendly partnerships that are built around a simple philosophy: to help great games reach more players while making sure the developers who created them benefit the most. As a publishing partner, Tripwire will offer advanced support from their knowledge and resources including access to the company’s extensive and engaged player community, platform and storefront relationships, promotional calendars and strategic guidance on pricing, discounts, sales timing and lifecycle management. Tripwire will build a focused portfolio targeting games from the spectrum of genres and platforms at different points in their lifecycle, from pre-release, to Early Access and post-launch.

“Tripwire Presents is starting this new program to give additional visibility to great self-published indie games that we feel Tripwire fans will absolutely love,”  said Bryan West, Publishing Director at Tripwire Presents.”These titles are from scrappy developers who have done the hard work of both creating and promoting a game themselves. We want to shine a spotlight on these gems to help each of them reach a broader audience.”

Five diverse titles will lead the company’s new initiative, including The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire, Starforged Legacy, Mars Attracts, One-Eyed Likho and Eslabong. Each game has been hand-selected by Tripwire for their distinctive product propositions and quality offerings, along with the passion and collaborative approach from each of the developers.

Set in the fictional Night City in the early 2000’s, The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire is a hybrid action-simulation and management game stacked with open-world criminal activities. Players take on the role of an aspiring gangster with kingpin dreams, where they must build a criminal empire from nothing and rule the city, or fall to a rival and lose everything. Developed by BEF Games, the game just exited Early Access on Oct. 27 and is available to purchase on PC via Steam for $18.99, discounted 20% through Nov. 10, as well as also offering a free playable demo.

Developed by Second Shift Games, Starforged Legacy is a single-player, sci-fi action roguelike bullet hell experience where players must forge a single starcraft into a fleet-leveling warship through the combination of salvaged weaponry and strategy-defining augmentations. Navigate across a 2D combat plane, weave through asteroid fields, aid galactic denizens and use resources collected from each failed expedition to become permanently stronger. The ultimate goal is survival; the legacy left behind is inevitable. The game is currently available on PC via Steam Early Access for $7.99.

New additions to the Tripwire Presents indies initiative include:

From developer Outlier Games, Mars Attracts is a park management sim set in the iconic Mars Attacks™ universe. Players take on the role of the devious Martians as they construct detailed enclosures, manage staff and most importantly - abduct and experiment on humans for the entertainment of their Martian guests. The game recently exited Early Access and is available to purchase on PC via Steam for $24.99. Outlier Games has already released a free content update adding a new human enclosure type and time-limited Halloween-themed decor set, as the first in planned future updates.

One-Eyed Likho is a first-person dark folk horror adventure game developed by Morteshka (creators of Black Book) based on dark Slavic folklore recorded in the 19th century. Players must outwit the malevolent Likho by navigating shadowy landscapes and solving intricate fire-based puzzles. The game blends conventional horror with authentic folklore and a dark, monochromatic hand-crafted art style to create a uniquely eerie and immersive experience. One-Eyed Likho is currently available to purchase on PC via Steam for $19.99.

Eslabong is a tactical strategy and mercenary club management game developed by shirowita. In either single player or co-op, players recruit fantastical mercenaries with unique abilities, build their squad and compete through rolling seasons in leagues and cups. Every run forces new decisions as randomized stats, evolving rosters and dynamic opponents keep each season different, while the market offers new ways to adapt and improve. Eslabong is currently available to purchase on PC via Steam Early Access for $14.99 and also offers a free playable demo.

More information about the new indies initiative will be shared in the future, including additional details for both current and future titles.
