Irvine, CA – April 16, 2025 – NC America, the western publishing arm of NCSOFT, has launched the long-anticipated Lineage II: Project Wolf, available now for free on PC. In conjunction with the series’ 21st anniversary celebration, the Lineage II team has injected new life into this lycanthropic-themed update driven by the new werewolf class, epic new raids, boss battles and hunting zones, and reward-rich PvE battles.

Experience the New Werewolf Class
In Project Wolf, players can wield the power of the new Varkas class by becoming a rage-filled werewolf. As a terrifying new supernatural creature, players are capable of harnessing “Wolf Powers”, equipping claw weapons, donning light armor sets, and building enhanced defenses.
Players will use the “Lunatic” skill to increase physical attacks, physical skill power, physical skill critical damage, and attack speed, and experience the exclusive buff “Night Hunter”, automatically activating at night, to experience temporary buffs until the dawn.
Battle With (PvE) and Against Your Friends (PvP) In All New Territory
The new PvE and PvP offerings include Fafurion's Underwater Canyon Battle, an epic Water Dragon Raid to earn high value loot requiring 50 players; the Daily Sanctum of Spirits Boss Fights (daily boss battles); Crumahum Outpost Daily Hunting Zone, where groups of up to five players will earn a bonus XP rate when fighting in the hunting zone; and Dark Legion Annihilation, a scheduled Sunday PvE event where players must defeat a series of preliminary monsters to confront the final boss around the Giran Castle.
MMORPG fans also can charge into the Battle of Annihilation of the Dark Legion, where every Sunday, they will fight against the Dark Legion as it storms the Giran Castle; Water Dragon’s Canyon, a special hunting zone featuring changes in water depth and expanded territory; and Sanctum of Spirits, which teams pair up with battle tested warriors to fight one of the Elemental Bosses in a unique hunting zone.
Lineage II’s 21st Anniversary Celebration and Rewards
To commemorate the launch of Project Wolf, a slew of gift-heavy anniversary events are available for free.
- 21st Anniversary Attendance Check: Log in for a unique daily reward. Steadily collect one each day to receive the ultimate reward on day 28.
