Breda, The Netherlands — 25 September, 2025 — Indie developer Sassybot today announced that Faire Trade, the follow-up to cozy shopkeeping management sim Winkeltje: The Little Shop, opens in Steam Early Access on 16 October, 2025 at 2pm BST / 3PM CEST / 9am EDT / 6am PDT. With extensive customization, crafting depth, and charming characters, players can grow a humble storefront into a thriving part of the village and help shape its development from day one.

In Faire Trade, players start with a modest shop and expand it into a lively marketplace, crafting wares, growing fresh produce, and customizing every detail to attract more customers. Build relationships with eccentric villagers, adapt to seasonal changes, and hire and train staff to keep the business running smoothly. Balance creativity, strategy, and community as you shape your own dream shop.
Players can wishlist Faire Trade now on Steam and choose between the base game and the Founder’s Edition, which includes exclusive cosmetic items such as a sharply tailored shopkeeper’s suit available only during Early Access. Early Access players will also gain first access to new features as the game evolves and can provide feedback to guide development ahead of the full release via Discord.
