Paris, September 7th 2021 – Two weeks after the release of a new trailer for the upcoming game Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All!, the French publisher Microids and Albert Rene Editions are delighted to announce the signing of a contract for three more games based on the Asterix franchise. This agreement spanning over the next 5 years will invite players of all ages to experience various video game genres. Microids Distribution France, Microids’ brand new distribution structure, will be in charge of the distribution of these titles in the French territory.

Asterix is already at the starting blocks since Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! developed by Mr. Nutz Studio, a brand new adventure coming out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch November 25th 2021. The game will be backward compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to control the famous duo and set sail to the most iconic places in the comic book series while battling Roman legionaries, pirates, brigands and even the dreaded Normans.
