Knights Peak and Windup Games are pleased to announce that Hela will be playable for press and public attendees at Tokyo Game Show in Hall 7, Booth 07-N13. The heartwarming third-person open-world adventure, that can be played solo or co-op multi player, will be showcased from September 25-28 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan.
Visitors to TGS 2025 are invited to experience the acclaimed debut game from the creators of the Unravel series for themselves during the four-day event. Part of the development team will also be on site and looks forward to meeting players and media representatives. Inspired by Scandinavian folklore, the game offers players the opportunity to explore magical landscapes, solve puzzles, and brew potions to help their sick witch friend, together with up to three friends in co-op-multiplayer.
Hela, the recipient of two gamescom 2025 awards for "Most Entertaining" and "Most Wholesome," is set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5 and PC in 2026. The appearance at the Tokyo Game Show is the game's first playable appearance on the Asian market and brings the enchanting mouse adventure to a new audience of gaming enthusiasts and industry professionals.
Tokyo Game Show will be held from September 25-28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. The event anticipates attracting hundreds of thousands of gaming enthusiasts globally. September 25-26 are designated as business days for industry professionals and press, followed by public days on September 27-28.
