Go Deeper. Risk Everything. The Hundredth Floor: Extraction Announces December Launch and Expands Its Demo for Steam Next Fest

The solo-developed dungeon crawler's updated demo features 25 floors, three bosses, and improved environment visuals ahead of its full Steam release in December 2026.

October 16, 2026 — How far would you descend with a backpack full of loot—and everything to lose? Solo developer JohnHang and publisher Infini Fun today announced that The Hundredth Floor: Extraction will launch in full on Steam in December 2026. An updated demo featuring 25 floors, three bosses, and improved environment visuals is now available for Steam Next Fest, alongside a new trailer. The exact release date and pricing will be announced later.

Blending loot-driven action RPG combat with extraction mechanics, The Hundredth Floor: Extraction sends players into a 100-floor abyss as a game tester trapped inside a broken virtual world. A fatal system bug has disabled the way out. To return to reality, you’ll have to fight your way down.

Every descent brings a choice: extract with what you’ve found, or push deeper for something better. Extraction opportunities appear at intervals, allowing you to secure your haul and resume from that floor on a future expedition. Keep going, however, and a promising run can become a costly mistake. Die before getting out, and your hard-earned loot is lost.

That tension sits at the heart of a single-player dungeon crawler built around experimentation. A sprawling talent tree, dozens of weapon types, and more than 1,000 gear affixes give players the tools to create powerful builds—from devastating melee attacks to ranged barrages and spell combinations. Procedurally generated dungeons, elemental status effects, and bosses with distinct mechanics put those builds to the test.

Key Features

  • 100 floors to conquer: Descend through procedurally generated dungeons in a collapsing virtual world.
  • Extract or risk it all: Secure your loot at extraction points, or gamble it on the floors below.
  • Build your own powerhouse: Experiment with a vast talent tree, dozens of weapon types, and 1,000+ gear affixes.
  • Fight on your terms: Combine melee, ranged attacks, spells, and elemental effects in single-player ARPG combat.

The updated demo is available now on Steam. Wishlist the game ahead of its full release in December 2026.
