Explore the classic MMORPG world of Midgard, reborn in Ragnarok Begins

November 15th, 2022 Buena Park, CA - Gravity Interactive has officially launched their new side-scrolling MMORPG, Ragnarok Begins for both PC and Mobile. The cross-platform title is available globally for players on PC as well as on mobile for players in North America. This newest Ragnarok game in the 20-year-long-running franchise features action-packed combat, a fantastical narrative, customizable gear, player housing, ranked PVP, and much more. With missions to tackle and gear to loot, Ragnarok Begins is ready to tell the tale of early Midgard for franchise fans.

Taking place 100 years before the events of Ragnarok Origin, Ragnarok Begins transports players to Midgard in the ages of a great feud between the worshippers of Odin and worshippers of Freya. Chaos has erupted in the realm after the disappearance of the Pope of Arunafeltz and it's up to players to work together to uncover the secrets and mysteries surrounding the Pope’s disappearance as well as what is hidden at the heart of Midgard. Conflict is never far, and players will unravel a saga of deception, warring kingdoms and more. 

Featuring the familiar chibi art style of other Ragnarok titles, Ragnarok Begins combines the aesthetics that fans have come to know and love with new gameplay to enjoy. With 2.5D side-scrolling action reminiscent of Ragnarok Origin and action MMORPG non-targeting blended with brawling elements, Ragnarok Begins is an action-packed fantasy adventure. Along with server-wide world bosses, ranked PvP in the arena of Valhalla, and waves of enemies to battle in The Endless Tower; players will not have a dull moment in this visit to Midgard whether playing solo or in a group. 

Players will be able to choose from 4 base jobs in Ragnarok Begins including the Swordsman, Archer, Mage, and Acolyte. Each job will also have two advanced options for players to explore to find the playstyle that suits them most, for a total of eight end-game jobs (classes). Ragnarok Begins also gives players the ability to seamlessly swap between playing on PC and mobile with cross-platform play. 

Players on PC and Mobile can start their adventure in Ragnarok Begins beginning at 2 pm PST/5pm EST on November 15th. Users who pre-registered will enjoy additional benefits including in-game resources, cosmetic items, and in-game currency.
