Cyberpunk x Robin Hood: Cyber Paradise Debuts a Medieval Bonus Area from Red Rebellion at London Games Festival

Melbourne, Australia – DDmeow Games is proud to announce that their cyberpunk 2D action roguelite, Cyber Paradise, has been officially selected for the London Games Festival (LGF).

To celebrate, the team is debuting a new Robin Hood's Medieval England area in the demo at LGF, created in collaboration with Red Rebellion, a historically researched adventure game.

Main Game Overview

Cyber Paradise is a 2D action roguelite adventure game set in the future where reality is exposed as a mere computer simulation. Every aspect of life is pre-determined by algorithms. When people die, their data is deleted, discarded into The Lost Sector.

Amidst the despair, you play as Hayley, a hacker-warrior accompanied by her dog, DDmeow. Your mission is to fight in the Lost Sector, retrieve lost memories, and rebuild them into a digital sanctuary—a cyber paradise.

Your first job comes from Samuel, the owner of Mini’s Cafe. You're tasked to retrieve the memories of his late dog, Mini. Between battles, you return to Mini's cafe for a break, where stories from its patrons, alongside fragments of Mini’s memories, slowly unravel the mystery of this dystopian world.

"Pet Parry" - the most loved mechanic - Petting your dog parries attacks!
Hit streaks activate Turbo and make your weapon super big!
Collect enough memory to digitally revive Mini the Dog.
You can even craft her favourites—like a dog butt to sniff!
Cyber Paradise Special Edition Demo – Addition of a Robin Hood’s Medieval England-Themed Area

The game’s special edition demo that debuts at LGF introduces a brand-new "Medieval England Area." This content is brought to you with the historically researched background of Red Rebellion, a narrative adventure game set in medieval England where female Robin Hood and Red Riding Hood team up to save their town.
Experience the intriguing history of medieval England in this cyberpunk simulation. Example scenes:

  • The Turnspit Dog: A dog-powered rotisserie. Witness this giant invention where a dog runs inside a wheel to turn the pit, to cook the meat evenly.
  • Table Manners: Medieval women had to follow strict rules, or every gesture could be interpreted in unexpected ways.

▲At the end of the original demo, you will find a mysterious machine. Which simulated world will it send you to?

▲The Red Rebellion team spent years researching the setting, even consulting a British medievalist professor and historian to ensure historical accuracy. This dog-powered rotisserie is one of the fun facts they provided for the crossover.
▲Female Robin Hood discussing table manners expected of women in England Medieval time. Players can "accidentally overhear" the conversation.
