Com2uS Holdings (CEO Chulho Jeong) announced on October 21 that it has introduced a new region, Ash Mountain, to ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD, the stylish action RPG developed by Second Dive (CEO Seungchul Ban), along with a series of special events.
The new region, Ash Mountain, is a volcanic area spewing lava, where fire-attribute monsters appear. In Main Story Act 5 Chapter 2, set in this region, players will team up with the Defense Force to face off against powerful bosses. The update also raises the character level cap to 80 and expands progression options with new weapons, Relics, armor, and crafting materials.
A higher difficulty level has also been added to Giganto Machia, the massive boss raid. Players can take on even more challenging battles to earn a variety of progression materials. In addition, new quality-of-life features allow players to use multiple Planetary Dispatch Tickets at once and complete Subjugation Quests in batches, making gameplay more convenient.
Check-in and mission events celebrating the update will run from October 20 at 11:00 PM to November 10 at 11:00 PM (PST). The 14-Day Check-In Event offers Suit Summon Tickets, Suit EXP Chips, Free Diamonds, and more. Players can also earn Operator EXP Chips, Cell enhancement materials, and other rewards by completing missions involving hunting, Subjugation, and other activities.
Special Halloween events will also take place. The Halloween 7-Day Check-In Event, running from October 27 at 11:00 PM to November 10 at 11:00 PM PST, will reward players with Suit Summon Tickets, Operator Capsules, Free Diamonds, and more. The Halloween Guardian Missions, available until November 17 at 11:00 PM PST, will reward players who complete objectives involving hunting, Daily Missions, Raids, and other activities with a Halloween Gift Box containing an S Grade Suit Summon Ticket and an S Grade Operator Capsule as the final reward.
ARES: THE IRON VANGUARD is a stylish action RPG featuring spectacular mechanical action and the signature Suit Change system, which allows players to switch Suits in real time. More information about the update and events is available on the official brand website and Discord server.
