CHRONO ODYSSEY CLOSED BETA CONFIRMED FOR JUNE 20TH TO 22ND

A new gameplay and cinematic trailer marks the dates and invites players to sign up via Steam

SEOUL, South Korea – June 6, 2025 – During Summer Game Fest, Kakao Games and Chrono Studio today released a stunning new trailer for Chrono Odyssey, the upcoming MMORPG that redefines time and space. The trailer sets the stage for the game’s first closed beta test on Steam, officially running June 20–22, 2025. The announcement follows a major milestone for the game, which has now surpassed 1 million global sign-ups signaling strong momentum and growing anticipation ahead of its launch.

The trailer, drenched in foreboding tone and cosmic horror, teases the escalating conflict at the heart of Setera. As madness spreads and time fractures, players are called to stand as Sentinels against the encroaching Void.

“Everything in Chrono Odyssey is about how time—and the loss of it—shapes the world and its fate,” said Sangtae Yoon, Executive Producer. “This new trailer is a narrative invitation to players. Steam Closed Beta – June 20 to June 22, 2025
For 72 hours only beginning at Midnight PDT on June 20th, players will be able to enter Setera and experience:

• Time-Manipulation Combat: Chain devastating combos with time rewind and freeze mechanics. Beta players can try three core classes: Swordsman, Ranger, and Berserker.
• An Unreal World: Explore one explorable region filled with temporal rifts, shifting biomes, and environmental hazards—all powered by Unreal Engine 5.
• A New Era of MMORPG: This PC-exclusive beta will offer a curated gameplay slice including early story quests, immersive combat, and scalable solo or party play.
