Beast Siege – A Fully Physics-Based Online Co-op Hunt for Colossal Beasts (First Look)

Title: Beast Siege
Genre: Online Co-op Action RPG
Players: Up to 8
Engine: Unreal Engine 5
Platforms: PC (Steam, Epic Games Store)
Release Date: Planned for 2026
Developer: Lumidia Games

Project Overview

Beast Siege is an online co-op action RPG for up to 8 players, set in a medieval fantasy world where magic has vanished. In this world, players don’t use spells but instead fight with powerful tools powered by gunpowder. These include explosive hammers and weapons that let them launch into the air with recoil-based jumps.

The combat system is fully driven by real-time physics. Nothing is scripted. Players can climb on gigantic beasts, knock them down, and work together to target weak points. Every battle is dynamic, unpredictable, and different each time.

By combining traditional co-op RPG elements with next-generation physics gameplay, Beast Siege delivers a fresh and intense experience that redefines boss battles in the genre.

Technical Innovation & Uniqueness

Beast Siege features a fully physics-driven combat system. Every attack, movement, and reaction is simulated in real time, with no scripted animations. Giant bosses react dynamically to player actions such as harpoon pulls, hammer strikes, or explosive jumps.

This results in deeply interactive and unpredictable battles. Players can physically climb the beasts, get launched by tail attacks, or work together to bring them down using real force and coordination. Each encounter feels different because it is powered entirely by real-time physics.

Gameplay

In Beast Siege, players go head-to-head with colossal beasts that react in real time through physics-based systems.

You can climb the beast by stepping onto its limbs and use the explosive recoil from your hammer to launch yourself into the air—perfect for landing a head-crushing blow from above.

A single swing from the beast’s massive tail can send players flying. Every hit has real physical force behind it, requiring players to dodge early or block with precise timing.

Working as a team, players can pin down the beast by firing harpoons and pulling its limbs to the ground. Traps can immobilize one of its legs, creating a short window for a coordinated assault—before the creature breaks free again.

This level of real-time physics interaction gives every battle a dynamic, unscripted feel. No two encounters are ever the same.
