Zagreb, Croatia – June 8, 2026 – Independent developer Siscia Games has officially revealed FARLANE, a single-player sci-fi space adventure currently in development for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and planned for release in 2027.
Following the release of Pompeii: The Legacy, solo developer Zeljko Kos returns to the genre where much of his career began. Before founding Siscia Games, Kos was one of the co-creators of the Starpoint Gemini series, and FARLANE marks his return to space after several years spent developing strategy and city-building games.

Set far beyond the wealthy core worlds of a fading galactic empire, FARLANE takes players to a dangerous frontier where stations are scarce, law is thin, and the old farlanes slowly disappear into unknown space.
Players take command of a Nomad-class Frontier Runner and its skeleton crew, earning a living through freelance contracts that range from bounty hunting and cargo hauling to asteroid mining, rescue operations, salvage missions, and exploration.
Where the known universe ends, adventure begins.
Your Ship Is Your HomeAt the heart of FARLANE is the player's ship, not simply a vehicle, but a living, explorable space inhabited by a crew of four.
Players will be able to move freely through the ship's interior while travelling through space, interact with onboard systems, manage crew responsibilities, review contracts, and prepare for upcoming missions.
As the journey progresses, the crew will repair damaged systems, maintain critical equipment, and improve the vessel using technology recovered from wrecks or purchased at remote frontier stations.
Life Between the StarsFARLANE combines spaceflight, combat, exploration, and ship management with a grounded science-fiction atmosphere inspired by classic space adventures and industrial frontier aesthetics.
Players will explore unstable farlanes, investigate mysterious signals, encounter abandoned locations, and venture deeper into regions where maps become unreliable and civilization begins to fade.
Early DevelopmentThe reveal trailer and screenshots released today represent an early work-in-progress version of the game. Additional gameplay systems, updated visuals, and new development updates will be revealed throughout development.
FARLANE is currently planned for release on PC in 2027.

Siscia Games is an independent game development studio founded by Croatian developer Zeljko Kos. With more than two decades of experience in the video game industry, Kos was one of the co-creators of the Starpoint Gemini series, helping establish a franchise that became well known among space simulation fans.
