Melbourne, Australia (Sep 3, 2026) — Ukiyo Studios returns to PAX West in Seattle, hosting more than 20 games from around the world. Whether you’re into BMX tricks, lootin’ and shootin’, soaking in the vibes of a rainy evening, or exploring a possibly haunted game cartridge, we’ve got something that should intrigue you. We’re located at Booth 633, right next to the PAX Rising Booth where our friends at 13AM Games will be showing Dungeon Lurker.
In addition to all the games, there’s plenty to do throughout the booth. From CRITICAL REFLEX, we’re bringing back our IRL Buckshot Roulette Table, as well as the Door to play No, I’m not a Human IRL. And for those of you who just can’t wait to get back to work, we’ll have a set of cubicles set up to play Pipes.exe
But we know what you’re really here for – Pinny Pins! TANUKI: Pon’s Summer - CRITICAL REFLEX
Pon’s getting his packages loaded up for the game’s full release later this year. If you haven’t played a demo for TANUKI yet, you owe it to yourself to explore this heartwarming adventure, making deliveries around town while doing BMX tricks, helping your neighbors through various mini-games, and raising funds to restore the local shrine.
Pipes.exe - CRITICAL REFLEX
Pipes.exe is a first-person co-op horror experience for up to 4 players based on exactly what you think it is based on. Climb your way through strange testing environments as a low-level QA employee at a Perfectly Legitimate Tech Company™. Survive a series of simulated assignments, corporate “best practices,” and increasingly questionable workplace conditions. We can’t say much more, but this is one game you’ll definitely want to experience in our booth.
Rain98 - C#4R4CT3R
Soak in the Tokyo vibes as you fall back in time to a 1998 apartment where the girl you just met wants you to help her destroy the world. But first, you’ll have to help with the laundry. See the gorgeous first title from Japanese studio C#4R4CT3R and find out why critics from around the world have been raving about the art, music, and mystery of this moody adventure.
Inkblood - CRITICAL REFLEX
Get your deductive gears turning with Inkblood, a mysterious occult detective game. As an Inquisitor following a trail of death, you’ll investigate cases and find culprits. Equipped with a magnifying glass that allows you to peek into the past, you’ll witness events that happened before the crime, find clues, gather evidence, and solve puzzles. Tap the map tattooed on your coachman’s back to choose the next scene to investigate, and find out how these cases weave together.
Altered Alma - CRITICAL REFLEX
A sci-fi Metroidvania with RPG and dating sim elements, Altered Alma takes you on an engaging and layered adventure in the world of Neo-Barcelona. You take on the role of a mercenary named Jacqueline, recruit a crew for your spaceship, make tough moral choices, and navigate an underbelly of dangerous factions.
Dungeon Lurker - 13AM Games

Like a lost relic on a forgotten 32-bit console, Dungeon Lurker mixes Golden Axe style combat with RPG and roguelite upgrades, pushing you to fight your way deeper into the dungeon across multiple runs while mastering a variety of upgrades and spells. You might also stumble upon clues that there’s more happening outside the box. Get a 20 minute taste of what’s in store.
CRYMELIGHT - FURYU
Following in the footsteps of CRYSTAR and CRYMACHINA, CRYMELIGHT is a roguelike action game set in the world of the afterlife, where girls confront their sins as they fight to gain their freedom. Set in an afterlife themed after Alice in Wonderland, Alice must confront the painful pasts of her companions and beat the evil queen at her own game. Defeating enemies creates a purple zone on the field where the action speeds up and your abilities grow stronger. Plus, one ability rains forks down from the sky, and it’s super satisfying to watch.
ANOMALITH - FURYU
ANOMALITH is a survival third-person shooter set in Japan, steeped in the atmosphere of liminal spaces and Showa-era retro aesthetics. Play as Reona Minazuki who ventures deep into Anomaly Zones where physics and reality shift, creating labyrinths filled with deadly creatures. Employed as a diver, Minazuki exhibits a strange power within the zones, enabling her to venture deeper and search for her missing friend. Use a variety of firearms to take down enemies from a distance, unleash beast-like powers as your body transforms, and gather resources to further strengthen and upgrade your powers.
Box Knight - We Made A Thing Studios
Featuring beat-em-up gameplay mixed with roguelike mechanics, Box Knight has you battling your way through drones and gremlins spawned from toxic workplace culture. Become the Box Knight to take back the office and defeat the evil bosses. We’ll have a demo available to play in either single player or co-op modes.
Cohen 1939 - 2P Games
Play as Elisa, a widow seeking bloody vengeance for her murdered husband in this fast-paced top-down action shooter inspired by Peaky Blinders and Hotline Miami. Rely on twitch reflexes, weapon scavenging, and ruthless positioning to slaughter your way through local gangster syndicates.
It Takes Paws - 2P Games
A hilarious physics co-op platformer where a cat and a pug venture into a fantasy game world to save their unconscious owner. Using their floppy, "noodle-man" human as a living rope and lever, players must coordinate to bite, swing, and launch each other through wild obstacles—or playfully sabotage their partner!
The Piper of Dawn - 2P Games
A dark fantasy game, involving farming and alchemy, The Piper of Dawn is the next title from Bone Nail, makers of Yog-Sothoth's Yard.
