Solo studio AeKayStudios has released a free demo of The Fight for Beardlandia, an auto-battler roguelike where you recruit a clan of dwarves, gear them up, pick your fight from three enemy cards, then watch the battle play out on its own. Every decision is made before the fight starts.
Key features:
- Six classes, with class synergies that stack up to eight matching recruits
- Eleven weapons, each with its own ultimate, and any class can use any weapon. Mages double-cast their ultimates, so a Mage with a healing staff heals twice.
- Merge items up to Mythic and imbue elemental crystals for resistances
- 11 heroes with three star powers each, unlocked with gems you earn in play. No real-money purchases.
- Five elemental bosses, a large skill tree for permanent progression, and a hard mode
- Interface in 16 languages
The free demo has thirty waves ending in a boss fight, and heroes unlocked in the demo carry over to the full game.
