DENVER, CO, USA – October 29, 2026 – The island is waiting, the curse is upon us! Rising publisher Digital Bandidos and Toronto-based developer Hilltop Studios are thrilled to announce gripping eldritch mystery Curse of Resthaven is now available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Curse of Resthaven casts players as Ambrose, the newly-appointed governor of a struggling island colony who is searching for his missing niece, Amalia. In addition to restoring the town’s economy and earning the trust of its residents, Ambrose must also face the dark horrors that lurk in the island’s wilderness as he seeks answers.
Six days into his new role, ancient forces rise up and wipe out Resthaven… and Ambrose finds himself back on the day of his arrival, the only one to remember the island’s fate. Trapped in a time loop, players must use what they learn to uncover the secrets that have doomed Resthaven and prevent this terrible cataclysm from occurring.
Developed by the team behind the multi-award-winning Lil’ Guardsman, Curse of Resthaven combines exploration, trading and management, investigation, and deckbuilding in a stunning hand-drawn adventure that has already won over critics and content creators alike.

In Curse of Resthaven, you must:
- Bring Riches To Resthaven: Trade with visiting merchants, haggle to secure the best deal, and use the gold to revive six upgradeable businesses
- Investigate The Islanders: Interrogate 25 fully-voiced characters, each with their own secrets and agendas
- Explore Beyond The Walls: Embark on card-based expeditions and face the horrors that lurk outside the town walls to expand the colony
- Master The TIme Loop: Use what you have learned to earn people’s trust, and be in the right place and the right time to change their fate
- Accept Divine Boons: Every time the loop resets, the island’s fading goddess offers you one of three Boon Cards, each with different advantages and disadvantages, to aid your next run
- Uncover The Truth: There are three timelines to complete. Only by reaching all three conclusions will you unlock the fourth, true ending.
In addition to the base game, Steam players can also buy the Curse of Resthaven: Gilded Edition, which includes two soundtracks, an art booklet, and sheet music for the in-game bard’s ballads. There will be options to add these additional items to your purchase when buying the full game, or you can save over 20% compared with buying all items when you purchase the Gilded Edition.
Digital Bandidos has also teamed up with Raw Fury and PlayStack to create unmissable bundles for mystery fans:
