AHMEDABAD, India - September 30, 2026: Indian game developer and publisher Zatun today announced that the PC demo for SCP: Project Pneuma will launch on October 1, 2026. The demo will offer players their first opportunity to enter the dark, atmospheric world of the studio’s upcoming first-person psychological survival horror game.
In the aftermath of Project Echelon, containment has collapsed across the globe. Foundation facilities lie abandoned, communication with Site-19 has been lost, and dangerous anomalies now roam beyond their cells.
Players assume the role of Dr Alexander “Alexie” Kolchak, a Foundation researcher and one of the few survivors of Site-63. To uncover the truth behind the catastrophe, Alexie must travel through ruined facilities, forgotten forests, isolated research sites, and a haunted exclusion zone on his journey toward Site-19.
Surviving the anomalies, however, is only part of the challenge. As Alexie ventures deeper into the devastation, the boundary between reality and hallucination begins to break down, and the greatest threat may be his own mind.
A World Where Reality Cannot Be Trusted
SCP: Project Pneuma combines psychological horror, exploration, stealth, environmental storytelling, and survival gameplay within a narrative-driven experience inspired by the SCP universe.
Players must investigate abandoned locations, solve environmental puzzles, recover journals and voice logs, and piece together the events that led to the Foundation’s collapse. Supplies are scarce, danger can emerge without warning, and survival depends on learning how each threat behaves.
Among the anomalies players may encounter are SCP-173Z, SCP-096Z, SCP-939Z, and SCP-239Z. Each presents distinct behaviours and gameplay challenges, requiring players to observe, adapt, and decide when to hide, evade, or run.

Launching October 1 on PC, the SCP: Project Pneuma demo will introduce players to the game’s oppressive atmosphere, exploration, environmental storytelling, and anomaly-driven survival mechanics.
The demo offers an early glimpse into the world and central mystery of Project Pneuma ahead of the game’s forthcoming Early Access release.
