VILNIUS, LITHUANIA — Lithuanian studio NIEKO released Remembrance, a story-driven VR puzzle adventure, exclusively on Meta Quest via the Meta Store. The game is available now for $4.99 USD / €3.99 EUR.
Remembrance takes players inside the fractured memories of Professor Isaac Nemeth, a brilliant but broken scientist whose work may hold the key to humanity's survival. As Dr. Bell, a psychologist guiding Nemeth through his own subconscious, players physically explore his memories rather than watch them unfold, solving environmental puzzles to uncover what happened and why.


Remembrance tells a complete first chapter in roughly 1 hour, while hinting at a mystery reaching beyond one man's mind.

DESCRIPTION

Remembrance takes players inside the fractured memories of Professor Isaac Nemeth, a brilliant but broken scientist whose work may hold the key to humanity's survival. Players step into the role of Dr. Bell, a psychologist tasked with navigating Nemeth's deteriorating mind and reconstructing the events that brought him to this point.


Rather than observing Isaac's past through conventional flashbacks or cinematics, players physically enter his memories. Rooms, objects and small details become pieces of the story, set inside surreal, handcrafted environments. Players explore these fragmented spaces, interact with their surroundings and solve puzzles to uncover what really happened, and why.
Remembrance tells a complete first chapter, but the memories players uncover hint at a mystery reaching beyond one man's mind.
