Maggie Robertson and David Hayter to Host the Future Games Show at gamescom

Three digital showcases planned for August 2025

The Future Games Show is delighted to announce that actor, director and producer, David Hayter and actor, Maggie Robertson will be co-hosting the Future Games Show at gamescom on Wednesday, August 20. David is best known for voicing Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series as well as screenwriting credits on Netflix's Warrior Nun and movies such as X-Men, X2: X-Men United and Watchmen. Maggie Robertson is an award-winning actor best known for playing the iconic villain Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village, as well as Orin the Red in Baldur’s Gate 3 and more.

The Future Games Show at gamescom starts at 11am PDT / 2pm EDT / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST / 2am CST* on Wednesday, August 20. The digital showcase will be broadcast on TwitchYouTubeXTikTokGamesRadar, BiliBili, ESR and more.

The Future Games Show at gamescom, will bring viewers world premieres, exclusive trailers and stealth demo drops from some of the industry’s most exciting and creative studios. The show will feature more than 50 upcoming games from AAA and indie publishers and studios including Capcom, Bandai Namco Entertainment, EA and NACON.

In addition, FGS Live From gamescom, a multi-format showcase hosted by FGS channel presenters Jules and Nathan follows directly after the Future Games Show on Wednesday evening. Tune in for more amazing new trailers, world premieres and demo drops in a 40-minute broadcast.

New show, FGS Best Of gamescom airing during the evening of Sunday, August 24, will bring viewers the ‘best of’ the gamescom show floor, including exclusive gameplay demos from top AAA games, booth tours, developer interviews and a recap of all the week’s biggest announcements.
