HYPERVIOLENT Retro Shooter Lands on PC Today!

Prague, Czech Republic – September 23, 2025 - Fulqrum Publishing, nfoPRINCE, and Terminist Arcade are excited to bring HYPERVIOLENT, a brutal fusion of old-school boomer shooter carnage and immersive sim depth, to Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com today!

Perfect for fans of old-school FPS titles like Quake and DOOM, this sci-fi adventure sees players awaken an ancient evil long lost to the galaxy. Armed to the teeth with plenty of guns, rocket launches and even axes - they will fight through this abandoned mining asteroid and take on an evil so great the Devil might turn and flee. If guns make things too easy, then players can also kick, punch, and even wield the severed arms of their enemies as they tear their way through the monstrous horde.

HYPERVIOLENT - Launch Trailer

But HYPERVIOLENT isn’t just for fans of blood, guts and classic shooters. Players will also reveal a dark secret within the depths of space as they uncover the fate of the I.E.C Commodus through data logs, terminals and even the blood-soaked remains of their enemies.

The 1.0 launch brings with it 22 weapons, 14 areas to explore and five bosses to destroy (or sometimes be obliterated by). Players will also have the chance to fly their own spaceship through the narrow corridors of the Commodus and use powerful tools to even control their foes.

HYPERVIOLENT will be available not only in English, but players will be able to enjoy it localized with subtitles in German, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Russian as well.

Console players won’t be left behind! HYPERVIOLENT is in development for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S | X, bringing its unique blend of retro FPS brutality and immersive sim tension to living rooms everywhere. Stay tuned for more details on the upcoming console launch.

Features:

  • Gorgeous 3D / Pixel Hybrid: Explore the rich environments of the I.E.C. Commodus station and paint them with viscera, rendered in a combination of classic low-poly 3D, hand-crafted pixel art, and uniquely rich lighting.
  • Intense horror atmosphere: Feel the dread of exploring the dark entrails of a recently operational but now dead asteroid station, light-years from rescue. Something has gone wrong - but no one is left to explain. No backup. No signal. Just you, the darkness, and whatever still moves in it.
  • Brutal combat: Dual-wield most of the 22 unique ranged and melee weapons to obliterate insane and monstrous enemies. But don’t get cocky - manage your resources, dismantle spare armaments for parts, and repair your gear. You don’t want to be caught empty-handed in a bossfight.
  • RPG / FPS mechanics: Manage your inventory, upgrade weapons, & peruse through computer data logs to further your mission in this exciting, authentically nostalgic experience.
  • Use the environment to your advantage: Operate switches, terminals, and keycard systems to unlock paths, disable hazards, and progress through the station’s sprawling corridors.
  • Six Degrees of Violence: Employ numerous methods of dispatching your enemies, commandeer heavy-duty mine equipment, and even fly a fully functional spacecraft in nostalgic Six Degrees of Freedom combat.

HYPERVIOLENT is available right now in Early Access via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.com and will be celebrating its 1.0 launch on September 23rd, 2025!
