Counter Clash, is a new indie real-time strategy game featuring cartoon art and deep strategic gameplay, launching into early access on PC. Developed by a solo developer and backed by a passionate indie publisher, Counter Clash brings classic RTS campaign mechanics to a fresh generation of players.
In Counter Clash, players take on the role of a ruler struggling to survive and expand a tiny kingdom in a harsh and hostile world. Each story map offers a new challenge with unique layouts, resource placements, enemy factions, and hidden secrets. Whether you're a veteran strategist or a newcomer to the genre, the game offers accessible depth and plenty of replayability.
Gather, Build, Defend, Conquer
Your mission is simple: build a thriving kingdom and dominate the map. To achieve this, you must gather essential resources such as lumber, cattle, and wheat by assigning workers and constructing your economy near natural sources. Smart placement and careful distribution are key to survival and growth.
From simple farms to military barracks and towering defences, every building in Counter Clash serves a purpose. As the pressure mounts, your survival hinges on base layout and resource flow.
Real-Time Battles Against a World of Threats
Combat is central to Counter Clash. Players must defend their growing base and launch strategic assaults in real-time against a wide variety of enemies, including:
- Rival crusading kingdoms
- Ferocious magic wielding desert tribes
- Mechanised steampunk scientists
- Undead hordes, and dark sorcery
Each enemy type presents unique challenges and demands adaptive tactics. And with two distinct game modes Campaign and Battle players can either take on handcrafted missions or choose their faction and enemies in a brutal test of strategy across the map of their choice.
