São Paulo, September 30th, 2025 – Two memorable games from the 80s will be at Brasil Game Show this year in new versions: Double Dragon Revive and BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons. Both titles can be played first-hand by visitors on the Arc System Works booth, available every day during BGS 2025, which will be held from October 9th to 12th, at Distrito Anhembi, in São Paulo.
Besides the gameplay experiences, visitors of the largest gaming convention in the Americas who go through the Arc System Works area can get exclusive pins from both titles, participate in activations, interact with the booth's attractions, and get to know new content related to the titles.
The brand's booth will also have the presence of executives Hideyuki Anbe, Chief Technology Officer and responsible for Arc System Works' development teams, and Hiroshi Nagaki, Producer of Double Dragon Revive.
To complete the experience, visitors will also be able to explore content from other company projects, such as the highly anticipated Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact and GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE – which, starting October 9, will receive a brand-new update featuring Portuguese (PT-BR) language support and new in-game content in collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, including Lucy in Digital Figure mode and free special colors for some characters.
"To have Arc System Works for another BGS is something to be proud of and a gift for fans," says the Founder and CEO of the conference, Marcelo Tavares. "Last year, the brand's booth was a huge success and, most definitely, BGS 2025 visitors will have a great time with the new versions of the titles that marked the childhood of a generation of parents who currently go to the event with their kids."
Double Dragon Revive will be released on October 23rd, and is a new version of Double Dragon, a 1987 title that became a classic of the beat’em up genre. The plot follows the brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee in their fight against the bad guys in a post-apocalyptic town until they reach a surprising ending.
In BUBBLE BOBBLE Sugar Dungeons, Bub embarks on a solo adventure through a mysterious dungeon filled with sweets, treasures, and enemies. Unlike the original game, where the dragon brothers Bub and Bob teamed up to save their girlfriends, this new singleplayer experience features Bub as the only playable character, delivering the same lighthearted fun and charm that have made the franchise beloved for decades.
