The Smurfs’ Society is entering The Sandbox

The Sandbox, a leading decentralized gaming virtual world and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, today announced a partnership with The Smurfs’ Society.

The Smurfs’ Society is rewarding The Sandbox’s community with 3,000 exclusive Smurf NFTs for a selection of Smurfs Voxel holders and some community members of The Sandbox. These NFTs will grant their holders early access to the Smurfs’ Society platform and a scavenger hunt experience in The Sandbox

The Smurfs’ Society is a Web3 project empowering their community to create a new era in The Smurfs’ history, based on decentralization and creativity through a gamified on-chain adventure. This PFP collection includes 12,500 NFTs featuring 250 unique Smurf characters with over 350 individual rarity traits and a handful of renowned artist collaborations.

Part virtual real estate, part amusement park, The Sandbox fully embraces the idea of the metaverse as a continuous shared digital space where worlds and heroes collide to make magic. Over 400 partners have joined The Sandbox, including Warner Music Group, Sueco, Ubisoft, The Rabbids, Tony Hawk, Gucci Vault, The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, The Smurfs, Care Bears, Atari, ZEPETO, and CryptoKitties, all following The Sandbox team’s vision of empowering players to create their own experiences using both original and well-known characters and worlds.
