The Nature Simulation City Builder Of Life and Land is Launching Into 1.0 on Steam.
Zurich, Switzerland - May 16, 2025 – Metaroot and Kerzoven are pleased to announce that after more than a year in Early Access, Of Life and Land, the peaceful nature simulation city builder, is now released as version 1.0 on Steam, with a 40% launch discount to celebrate the full release.
The 1.0 Release introduces a brand-new historical scenario about the Counts of Lenzburg, set in the Central Plateau of medieval Switzerland. Players can build the Lenzburg Castle, discover ancient myths, and take part in a time of political conflict between church and empire. New features also include castle construction, single-city scenarios, advanced trade mechanics, and decorative elements like benches, signposts, and flower boxes to bring settlements to life.

Of Life and Land was a solo project for a long time until Marco Burri made some friends on the way. Marco started developing games over ten years ago besides his career as an automation technician and later software engineer. One of his most famous game is Legend of Ahssûn, where he was working in the core team as a generalist and is still supporting the project today.
