Swedish publisher Snapbreak Games is excited to announce that the award winning game Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is now available for pre-registration on both Android and iOS, with an official release date set for August 6th this year, just in time to celebrate Moomin’s Day on August 9th!
Moomin’s Day is celebrated every year on August 9th to honor the birthday of Tove Jansson, the Finnish author and artist who created the beloved Moomin characters. 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Moomin and this year’s celebration is bigger than ever!
In partnership with fellow Swedish publisher Raw Fury and developed by the talented Norwegian studio Hyper Games, this heartfelt adventure will soon be available to mobile players around the world. This Nordic collaboration brings the enchanting world of the Moomins to an even wider audience.
Drawing from Tove Jansson’s beloved works, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley invites players on a wholesome journey to restore harmony to Moominvalley. Players will meet charming characters, experience an interactive world, and immerse themselves in an original Moomin story based on the classic comics and books..
But all is not well in Moominvalley. A series of hideous parks have disrupted the landscape and its harmonious nature. As Snufkin you will distract police officers, pull out signs, and knock over misplaced statues as you vigorously try to restore nature and the inhabitants’ home while putting an end to the industrious Park Keeper’s plans…
After a warm reception on PC and Nintendo Switch, the mobile version of Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley will let even more players experience the magic on the go.
