Scenes from ÁRIDA 2 revealed

During Gamescom Latam, the highly anticipated Brazilian game ÁRIDA 2: Rise of The Brave was highlighted in the Omelete Games Direct, an exclusive window of trailers and announcements with the latest news from the most awaited Brazilian games by the public and critics!


With the global launch of the “First Look Teaser”, some new features of ÁRIDA 2 were revealed, including improvements in the visual aspect, with scenes during the day and at night, the introduction of the protagonists Cícera and her companion Titela, as well as a more dramatic tone in the narrative.


The teaser is now available on Aoca Game Lab's YouTube channel, and the company from the state of Bahia is now beginning a cycle of communication focused on increasingly presenting the innovations of this second title in the award-winning ÁRIDA series and the company's second game.


According to Filipe Pereira, CEO of Aoca Game Lab, “The launch of the First Look Teaser is a milestone for us. An internal and external milestone. External because it is a way to start an even more intense connection with our community, sharing updates and gathering feedback. We know very well how much people are waiting for the continuation of Cícera's story. But it is also an internal milestone, as our focus from now until the future launch will be entirely directed to ÁRIDA 2, which until now had not been possible with the multiplatform journey of ÁRIDA 1 that was completed at the end of 2024. We now have a larger, more mature and more structured team. We feel within Aoca that the launch of this teaser is the beginning of a journey that will take the company to even greater heights”.


With the Steam page updated with images and videos of the current state of development, Aoca is now starting a campaign aimed at ÁRIDA 2 “wishlists”. This is a common step in the pre-launch phase that consists of registering the number of people interested in obtaining the final version and increasing the visibility of the game on the Steam platform. 


The game will initially be released for PC, so the next milestone for ÁRIDA 2 is the Steam Next Fest, which will take place next June, when titles in development share details about the current state of development with the platform's audience.


Aoca reiterates the sending of this text as an invitation to talk a little more about the trajectory of the game series and the company, about the new features that are part of this game and about the strategies that are part of bringing the backlands of ÁRIDA to more and more people around the world!
