LONDON (June 7, 2025) – Today during the Summer Game Fest Live Showcase, SQUARE ENIX® announced KILLER INN, a new murder mystery action game that plunges players into a thrilling game of life or death. In KILLER INN, players will put their social deduction skills to the ultimate test as they unravel secrets, form alliances, and survive the night. In KILLER INN, 24 players are invited to a mysterious castle by a shadowy organization known as Astra to compete to win unfathomable riches. They will be randomly and secretly assigned one of two roles: Wolves, whose mission is to hunt and kill, and Lambs, who must fight back and survive the mayhem or escape the castle. Players must use every weapon, tool and clue in their arsenal to survive and win. With the killers hiding in plain sight, players will need to question everything—even their closest allies. By the end of the night, all players must kill, be killed, or escape the madness.
Key Features Include:
- Dynamic Social Deduction — Lambs must work together to scour the castle for resources and investigate clues from slain players to deduce and hunt down the killers while also seeking their escape. Meanwhile, Wolves must put on a convincing show to gain trust, all while covering their tracks and continuing their killing spree until there are no Lambs left alive.
- Varied Gameplay Mechanics — To survive, devise and thrive, players must level up their gameplay by completing quests, looting chests for weapons and armor, stealing from fellow players, setting up intricate traps, upgrading equipment and more.
- Vibrant Cast of Characters — Players can choose from over 20 characters, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, abilities and unique backstories, that best suits their individual playstyle.
