Rug Restorer Simulator, Set in Poland in 2006, Announced With First Gameplay Trailer on Steam

A filthy rug rolls in. A beautiful pattern waits underneath. The first gameplay trailer is out now, and the game is open for wishlists on Steam.

Warsaw, Poland, October 29, 2026. Visent Games has announced Rug Restorer Simulator, a first-person sim about cleaning and restoring rugs in a small workshop beside a neighborhood bazaar in Poland in 2006. The first gameplay trailer is live on the game's Steam page, where players can wishlist the game today.

<<EMBEDDED TRAILER>>

Every job starts with a dirty rug and ends with a clean one going back to its owner. Players hang rugs on the beating rack in the courtyard and knock the dust out, work cleaning solution into the fibers, rinse away the grime and pull a squeegee across the surface until the colors and pattern come back.

Each rug needs its own approach. A delicate silk rug, a thick shag and a sturdy synthetic call for different tools and cleaning products. Players freeze chewing gum before scraping it off, use steam where it helps and check rugs under a UV lamp for stains that ordinary light hides.

Worn rugs also need repairs. Players comb out tangled fringes, mend damaged edges, fill missing tufts at the tufting station and restore faded patches, then dry the rug and roll it up for collection.

Between jobs, players run the business. They answer the phone and email, serve customers at the counter, receive rugs from the courier and keep the bills paid. Earnings go into better equipment and supplies, and into the shop itself: players order paint and decorations from the workshop computer, repaint the walls, put up shelves and make the worn little shop their own.
