Raise the Guardian Tree in Haegin’s “Play Together” and Help Save the Planet!

▶ "Play Together" collaborates with MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Korea), KFS (Korea Forest Service, Republic of Korea), and UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) KOREA on the POP (Plant Our Planet) campaign.
▶ Participate in the campaign by planting and raising trees in the metaverse with players from around the globe.
▶ Season events to be also available alongside campaign missions such as helping the Guardian Tree grow, planting trees per continent, etc.!

Mobile game company Haegin (CEO Lee Young-il) announced on the 27th that their mobile casual social network game "Play Together" will begin the global "Plant Our Planet" (POP) forestation campaign in response to the climate crisis.

Being the fourth online campaign to be hosted by MOFA, the POP campaign will be joined by KFS and UNICEF KOREA. Its goal is to remind the public that the world needs to come and work together to tackle the pan-global climate crisis.

As part of the campaign, Play Together will also be participating in the event and acting as a bridge between the virtual world and reality. In conjunction with the campaign, they will be holding a game event where the players are encouraged to plant trees. The event is open to anybody in the world and will serve as a good reminder of the climate crisis and the environment to the participants.

During the campaign, the earth-protecting "Guardian Tree" will appear in Kaia Island's Camping Ground, where there will also be the promotion booth of MOFA’s official YouTube channel “KOREAZ”. Players that visit the booth during the campaign will be greeted by the characters of Minister of Foreign Affairs Park Jin and Minister of KFS Nam Sung-hyun. The area will be surrounded by trees that represent the seven continents: pine tree, mangrove tree, gum tree, date palm tree, sugar maple tree, olive tree, and baobab tree.

There will be various missions for the players to carry out, such as raising the Guardian Tree or the trees of each content. To participate, players will first need to visit the campaign NPC “Groo”. After they’ve met Groo, they can start doing the daily missions and collect the related rewards. The growth of the Guardian Tree will depend on the number of players participating, which can be done by planting and taking good care of the saplings acquired inside the Camping Zone.

Moreover, players may use the Tree Spirit acquired by harvesting Tree Spirits to craft furniture at the Kaia Workshop. Players will be able to check the participation status of each continent using the map next to the KOREAZ booth. From this map, they may also check the number of participants from all seven continents and enjoy the mixture of cooperation and friendly competition.

Also coming with this update are five new maps for the beloved “Zombie Virus” game mode and new crafting recipes. New recipes can be used at the KAIA workshop, but some may only be crafted during certain times while others can be crafted at any time.
