El Segundo, California – May 8, 2025 | As PAX East gets underway, Kakao Games and Ocean Drive are breaking cover to reveal more details behind their twin-stick, sci-fi shooter Section 13 — including all-new environments, some cool new gadgets and, best of all, their upcoming May 26 release date!
The secretive ‘S2P Corporation’ has suffered a containment breach, and it’s up to Agents Red, Boy Scout, Beaker and Scalpel to get in there and close it down. Either solo, or in a team of two to three players, agents must traverse a roguelite-style paranormal containment facility; fighting off all manner of monstrous foes in this dynamic twin-stick shooter.
At PAX East, players will be able to check out the latest levels, discover brand-new wings, shiny equipment and some thrilling combat. Throw fire, unload bullets and generally cause work-sanctioned mayhem in a locked-down containment facility with more than its fair share of shady secrets.
