New Co-Op Game from the Creators of KSP2 - Mailstrom Demo Out Now

Seattle, Washington, June 5, 2025 - Advanced Faffery, the independent video game developer comprised of former KSP2 creative director Nate Simpson and former Intercept Games engineer Dan Goes, has released their first playable demo for Mailstrom, a four-player co-op FPS that challenges teams of interstellar letter carriers to deliver parcels in future cities that have been overrun by terrors from another dimension. Mailstrom is set to release for PC this summer via Steam Early Access.

“We're so excited that fans of games like Lethal Company and R.E.P.O. will finally get a chance to experience our weird twist on the genre," said cofounder Nate Simpson. "This game has been a labor of love for us, and we hope that the game is as fun to play as it was to make!"

The Mailstrom Demo Day announcement trailer can be seen here.

The demo can be found here.

What is Mailstrom?

Neither rain, nor snow, nor galactic apocalypse can keep the Pan Galactic Postal Service from their appointed rounds! Join a 4-player co-op team of sci-fi letter carriers to deliver parcels to unappreciative recipients across the galaxy. But be careful! Interdimensional rifts have unleashed alien horrors across the Hegemon, and only essential workers are allowed on the streets. That means YOU! Seek out delivery destinations, pick up outgoing mail, and blast through waves of rapacious alien monsters as you meet your delivery quotas and earn money that you can use to buy new items and weapons! Has your gun's battery run out? Feel free to open any parcel and use whatever you find to defend yourself! Sure, it's illegal - but we won't tell!

Mailstrom allows 1 to 4 players to team up in a fast-paced FPS where finding delivery addresses is as big a challenge as staying alive! Help one another as much as you can by carrying different items that can be used to defeat enemies, increase deliveries, and figure out where the heck you're supposed to go!

  • No two missions alike - street names, obstacles, landing zones, and parcels are different on every delivery run!
  • Play either single player or multiplayer co-op campaigns to earn money and buy new items
  • Delivery routes get more challenging as you progress, but the pay gets better too!
