Metal Unit Welcomes the Ruins in Free Content Update
The action-platformer adds a massive new dungeon, brand new equipment, and new skins and achievements to collect in its latest update
SEATTLE - October 19, 2021 | Metal Unit from Jellysnow Studio and NEOWIZ which is available on PC and via Nintendo Switch, today receives its largest DLC to date. A brand new dungeon called simply “The Ruins” is now encountered randomly as players work their way through Chapter 4 of the main game. In addition, ten (10) powerful new equipment items have been added such as the Holonade, Phase Boots, and SDA-Hammer. All of this comes alongside brand new skins, achievements, and plenty more fixes and improvements. The update is free to all players on PC or Nintendo Switch and is available NOW.
This update comes hot on the heels of the recent Nintendo Switch launch of the game, and the recently announced Physical Edition which sold in just five (5) days via Super Rare Games.
What Is Metal Unit?
Employing classic rogue-lite elements alongside a persistent, point-based research tree, players will unlock new items and skills with every playthrough. With no shortage of weapons and attacks to choose from, players can easily adapt and gear every session towards their own unique playstyle.
Metal Unit includes two difficulty modes, Normal and Hell, tons of difficult bosses to conquer, more than 50 unique enemy types, and hundreds of obtainable items to utilize. Metal Unit is also currently available on Steam. The game supports English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
