Freight comes to Scotland in latest Train Sim World gameplay pack

The fourth Partner Programme Gameplay Pack to come to Train Sim World 4 brings two new liveries to the ubiquitous Class 66 freight locomotive between Edinburgh and Glasgow

Kent, U.K. 1 Feb. Additional services featuring freight and engineering trains arrive in Scotland this week with the release of a new gameplay pack for Train Sim World 4. Edinburgh - Glasgow: Engineering Express Pack by Rivet Games sees two new liveries for the Class 66 introduced as well as the ability to operate a variety of non-passenger services between Scotland’s two biggest cities.

Hefty ballast trains, crucial engineering works trains and daring drags of the route’s modern ScotRail Class 385 all form part of the updated timetable, giving players a different set of challenges on this inter-city route Add-on. The Edinburgh – Glasgow route, also by Rivet Games, was released last year and is compatible with Train Sim World 4, including some of the latest features like Volumetric Fog.

This pack marks the fourth in a series by Partner Programme developers, with Rivet Games having released one for their Swiss Arosalinie route before Christmas, along with Skyhook Games’ Cargo Line pack for Midland Main Line and a Class 323 pack for Birmingham Cross-City by new developer SimTrack Studios.
