Fishing Clash Deepens Its Roots in Real-World Angling as Title Sponsor of MLF Team Series

Fishing Clash, one of the world’s most popular mobile fishing games, has been named the Title Sponsor of the 2025 MLF Team Series, Major League Fishing’s dynamic two-angler tournament circuit. The series will now be officially known as the MLF Fishing Clash Team Series Presented by Bass Pro Shops, with the first event kicking off August 24–29, 2025, in Port Huron, Michigan.

The sponsorship marks a major step forward in Fishing Clash’s strategy to deepen its footprint in the U.S.- the company’s largest and most important market – aimed at strengthening its presence and building even closer ties with millions of anglers  who fish both in-game and on the water

The MLF Fishing Clash Team Series will feature four Cup events – the Challenge, Heritage, Patriot, and Summit Cups - where 12 two-man teams composed of Bass Pro Tour anglers will compete for a share of $560,000 in prize money.

Each six-day event will be streamed live on MLFNOW!®, showcasing every cast, catch, and real-time tactical adjustment as teams battle through unfamiliar waters. In 2026, televised coverage will follow on Outdoor Channel, debuting as six original two-hour episodes and airing a total of 156 times throughout the year.

To celebrate the partnership and further immerse players in the real-world action, Fishing Clash will launch exclusive in-game events inspired by the 2025 Team Series, bringing tournament-inspired challenges, gear, and locations to its global audience of over 80 million players.

Bold branding and multi-platform reach

The sponsorship offers Fishing Clash a powerful presence throughout the MLF Team Series, with prominent brand visibility both on-site and across multiple media platforms. The Fishing Clash logo will appear in key on-camera locations, including the back and upper chest of team jerseys, on all angler and official hats, and across competition boats - most notably through a fully wrapped boat and front-deck logo placements during the qualifying rounds. This highly visual integration ensures constant exposure during live broadcasts and televised episodes alike.

Beyond the competition itself, the partnership extends into MLF’s full media ecosystem. Fishing Clash will benefit from branded integrations across MLFNOW!® livestreams, including billboards and commercial spots, as well as dedicated graphics, bumpers, and in-show features during all episodes aired on Outdoor Channel. The brand will also be featured across MLF’s digital presence through website display banners, editorial mentions, and social content with logo placement and tagging throughout the season. As part of the agreement, Fishing Clash enjoys category exclusivity within the Team Series and gains full rights to use official imagery and video content from the partnership for its own marketing and promotional campaigns.

A growing partnership between the real and digital fishing worlds

The collaboration between Ten Square Games and Major League Fishing began in 2023 as a marketing partnership that brought real MLF tournament venues into the Fishing Clash game. Since then, it has evolved into a close alliance based on shared audiences and mutual brand values.

In January 2024, Ten Square Games became the title sponsor of the Fishing Clash Angler of the Year award, celebrating elite competitors across MLF’s professional and grassroots leagues. The sponsorship was renewed in January 2025, with Fishing Clash continuing as title sponsor of MLF’s Angler of the Year programming.

The new Team Series sponsorship represents the most expansive collaboration yet – bringing Fishing Clash even closer to real-world anglers and reinforcing its commitment to authentic engagement across the fishing community.
