First Dutch route arrives in Train Sim World 5.

Goedemiddag! Train Sim World branches off into another new country with the Netherlands being added to the collection of European Add-ons available.

Kent, U.K. 25 Mar. New trains, new signalling, new safety systems... it really is ‘all change’ for both new and veteran players of Train Sim World, with the introduction of the first route Add-on set in the Netherlands for Train Sim World 5.

Running between the two cities of Zwolle and Groningen the ‘capital of the north’, this route sees Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) trains travel through flat countryside and smaller towns over 107km of track. 

 
With a new safety systen to learn in ATB, new signalling and new trains to drive, even the most experienced Train Sim World players will have to be on their toes in unfamiliar territory. Along the way, players will see cyclists – a first for the franchise – as well as wildlife, with Storks nesting on the unique overhead wires above the tracks.
 
Both the ICMm ‘Koploper’, a ‘70s icon soon to be retired, and the more modern SNG Sprinter offer unique driving experiences, with the Koploper in particular elevating players above the rails with an unusual cockpit-style cab, complete with retro dials and panoramic view.
 
Train Sim World 5: Sporrlijn Zwolle - Groningen route Add-on is out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and Steam for €39.99/£32.99/$44.99.
 
For those new to Train Sim World, there will also be the Train Sim World® 5: Dutch Regional Edition available on all of the above platforms for €39.99/£34.99*/$44.99. This release does not require any previous Train Sim World purchases.
