Dungeon-Dive, Duel, Debug: Survival Adventure “Omega Crafter” Exits Early Access Tonight on PC

TOKYO — May 14th, 2025 — Omega Crafter, the co-op open-world survival crafting adventure developed by Preferred Networks, Inc. (PFN), sets out to save a virtual game world on PC via Steam this evening (Wednesday, May 14th, 2025) at 8:00 PM PDT / 11:00 PM EST for $24.99, with a 30% launch discount until Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Enter a virtual world as the top developer of a game plagued by pernicious bugs manifesting as monsters. Journey as a solo dev or join forces with five co-developer friends, each with their own “Grammi” at their side — a loyal, programmable sidekick. Build shelter inside your own game, explore five procedurally-generated biomes, topple dangerous dungeons, and battle bosses to eradicate evil code threatening to delay the game’s launch!

In 1.0, venture into the new Lost World biome, filled with futuristic ruins surrounded by vibrant neon trees. Craft a radar to track meteor shower cycles, taking cover in the ruins to avoid destruction from above. Locate the source of the malware interfering with the game’s development and save the game once and for all in the newly added final showdown.

Level up programming skills at 25 Shrines of Programming scattered throughout the world, where perplexing puzzles await. Solving each shrine’s challenge grants exclusive rewards unavailable elsewhere used to further refine automation and city building. Stumped? Check Grammi’s built-in debugging error messages to identify and edit faulty code.

Manipulate Grammi’s beginner-friendly drag-and-drop coding interface to automate everyday tasks like gathering resources, so the dev team can focus on adventure. Grammi can effortlessly handle repetitive tasks like chopping down trees, gathering wood, and fetching stones. Build and expand an efficient, eccentric custom city as a base of operations, and conduct a cohort of cute city Grammi to automatically gather resources and craft materials.

Caught the building bug? Switch to 1.0’s new Creative Mode to unlock all 250+ building elements in unlimited quantities from the start and unleash endless design possibilities. Enjoy major quality-of-life upgrades such as the Reverse Item Lookup List, new skills, minigames, items, updated background music, and a revamped tutorial.

Chill out with ambient melodies or build energy with battle themes at home with Omega Crafter’s original soundtrack featuring 19 tracks, also available at 8 PM PDT.

“Thanks to our supportive community, Preferred Networks was able to successfully launch our first game with Omega Crafter,” said Takuya Sato, Omega Crafter Product Manager at PFN. “Our development team is very passionate about the value automation adds to the survival crafting genre.  We would like to thank everyone who lent their voice to development during Early Access to help us make this a reality!”

Omega Crafter arrives on PC via Steam for $24.99, and will be 30% off for the first two weeks of launch. Omega Crafter supports Japanese, English, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), German, and French, as well as machine-translated Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Korean, and Russian.
