This update expands the game’s world with new lore. With high-risk combat and strategic action at its core, Assault Mode offers a fresh challenge for players ready to take control.
DreadHaunt Assault Mode
The brand-new gameplay experience introduces intense first-person survival co-op action. In Assault Mode, players must eliminate waves of supernatural enemies in a high-intensity combat scenario. This mode supports solo play, cooperative multiplayer, and AI-controlled bots, which provide strategic support and additional firepower. The newly implemented AI bots enhance gameplay by assisting players in combat, ensuring a balanced and engaging experience across all playstyles. Here’s what to expect from this new gameplay mode:
- Fight waves of supernatural solo, with friends up to five players, or going solo with the help of AI bots.
- Relocate to new areas after each wave, scavenge gear, or rely on HQ-supplied weapons.
- Beware of invisible foes and the deadly Class E Spectromorph.
- Survive the final wave to claim victory, if you can.
