Take control of a disgruntled cleaning robot on a mission to fix a broken world. Harvest exotic subterranean flora, purchase gun turrets at mysterious vending machines, and combine them together with the alchemy system to create strange and powerful turrets. Finally, strap thrusters on your defensive bulwarks, and fly your base deeper into the depths.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Ecosystem: A reactive underground world teeming with exotic lifeforms and emergent behavior

  • Alchemic Turret System:Combine turrets into deadly inventions like auto-miners, mortars, or flame traps

  • Ship-Building Mechanics: Construct and customize mobile war machines to dominate hostile terrain

  • Robotic Evolution: Select perks and upgrades that allow you to create overpowered synergies

  • Procedurally Generated World: Biomes, resources, and events change with every run

  • Unfolding Mystery: With each run, the story unfolds, providing greater insights    into the apocalyptic past

CleanFall debuted its demo on Steam in July 2024, where it quickly climbed to the #1 spot on the New & Trending list before Valve introduced a dedicated demo section on the homepage. The game has since earned a 94% positive rating, with players praising its unorthodox mechanics, strategic depth, and strange atmosphere.

“I enjoy the militant reductiveness of this character motivation. There are sprawling underground ecosystems to discover, yes, weird plants to harvest, fractious clumps of tentacles to appraise, avoid or slaughter.” says Edwin Evans-Thirlwell, news editor from Rock Paper Shotgun, “The obvious comparisons, which I will now crudely weld into a revolting headline, are Spelunky and Terraria with a touch of Carrion and Noita.”

“Cleanfall takes inspiration from games like Spelunky and Terraria while mixing in some incredibly unique features of its own. The result is something unlike anything I’ve ever played before, with a deeply infectious loop of trial-and-error that continued to surprise me” says Shaun Cichacki, contributor from VICE Media,”And even after just diving into the demo, I can tell that this one has what it takes to stand out.”

The Early Access version will be localized from English into Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, with more languages planned for full release.
