Dark Trip, a controversial VR Adventure game enters Early Access release on Meta Store and receives EA trailer

With the KeyMailer campaign live, Dark Trip’s Meta Store page goes active on February 13, alongside the release of a new uncensored trailer on YouTube.

iTales VR, an emerging VR game developer, is excited to announce that Dark Trip will be available on the Meta Store starting Thursday, February 13, for Meta Quest 2 and Quest 3 users at a price of $10.99.

To mark the occasion, we’ve released a brand-new trailer highlighting the game’s key features and introducing one of its mysterious characters—the Medium.

Mediums are special young women capable of remaining sane in the presence of the mystical Triptych and unlocking the power hidden within its eerie paintings. Mengele, the game’s antagonist, seeks to control the Triptych and keeps the Mediums drugged, using them as subjects in his twisted experiments.

The goal of Early Access is to refine and enhance Dark Trip’s unique mechanics, which dynamically alter gameplay and puzzle elements based on the protagonist’s state—whether sober or under the influence of drugs.

Due to its suggestive and horror themes, as well as depictions of drug use, the Early Access trailer is age-restricted on YouTube.

Dark Trip is a VR escape room, in which the protagonist, searching for a missing girl, will have to solve puzzles and look for clues under the influence of hallucinogenic substances.
