Already making waves on the Flow blockchain, we at Crypthulhu Studios are releasing an Ethereum blockchain version of the wildly popular strategic free-to-play role-playing game Dimension X. Ethereum and Flow versions of Dimension X are distinct, each with different hero collections, and rarity definitions.

The Ethereum version of Dimension X will launch simultaneously with the FREE NFT drop of Dimension X heroes! We’re bringing the game to the Ethereum blockchain because we think that there is a huge opportunity to deliver an engaging Free-to-Play title to one of the largest and most successful blockchains on the planet! The team is excited to grow the user base of Dimension X while also continuing to operate and grow the Flow version of the game!
Players can expect live operations and a seasonal content model with regular updates. The development team is responsive to player needs and is accessible, transparent and collaborative with their community when designing the game! The team holds a weekly Design Stream/AMA in their Discord with the CEO and their Head of Game Design to solicit feedback from the community to improve the game and to iterate on upcoming features! We also host a weekly art stream where we create 1:1 NFT heroes from scratch for a community giveaway!
During this launch period, we are planning several special airdrops for recipients of Hall of Ancestors heroes (honored community members), Community Challenge heroes, Art Stream heroes, and any 1:1 custom heroes; alerting all comic fans that we will be bringing Dimension X comics to the Ethereum blockchain in the future.
ABOUT DIMENSION X
Set in the captivating Dimension X comic book universe, Dimension X takes place after a pan-dimensional explosion that has given rise to superpowered humans, aliens, and monsters with radical and terrifying abilities. Using NFT heroes, players strategically battle against villains and monsters, leveling up and supporting factions in a dynamic, ever-changing world.
Designed as an accessible F2P (Free-to-Play) NFT game with an active and growing community, Dimension X gives players agency to enjoy the game with or without NFTs by using Sidekicks to begin. Players must battle to earn in-game currency (THUL), which is necessary to mint new heroes, and they can unlock Sidekicks through factional rewards.
NFT heroes in Dimension X possess extraordinary powers enhanced by Element X. Some have control over fire or psychic energy blades, while others have sprouted additional bug limbs. Heroes are used to form teams on cooperative and competitive Quests, battling enemies on a 3x3 grid. Explore a variety of buffs, debuffs and connected tiles that utilize hero powers to calculate damage over time.
Each hero possesses three randomly assigned powers in random ranks Fire, Ice, Blade, Bug, Magic, Nuclear, and Tech. These powers can be leveled up by playing the game and winning rewards. Heroes gain experience points by damaging enemies during Quests, allowing them to level up and increase their base damage. A Seasonal piece of gear can be equipped for bonus mechanics and potential in quests in addition to a legacy bonus when the season ends.
There are three types of heroes in Dimension X. Generation 0 heroes are obtained from the initial 10,000 NFT drop on the game's release and come with three powers; these can also be bought in the store. Minted heroes can be acquired by spending THUL currency and feature two powers along with a BOON slot. Sidekicks, conversely, are non-NFT heroes that can be earned in-game and come with one power. Sidekicks can have different rarities and even come with perks. New NFT heroes can be minted using the in-game THUL currency.
Sidekicks are account-bound characters with power sets that are comparable to NFT heroes but are typically less powerful. All players start with a few Sidekicks and can unlock more by leveling up and completing quests for different factions.
